NATIONAL UFO HISTORICAL RECORDS CENTER

Welcome to the

National UFO Historical Records Center

Preserving UFO/UAP History
Our Mission
To collect, preserve, and provide historical UFO materials to the general public and interested parties. With the accumulated data, we hope to assist with serious UFO research endeavors and aid in an accurate chronicling of UFO history for present and future generations regardless of belief or non-belief in the subject matter.
Not for Profit
The National UFO Historical Records Center is a 501(c)(3) Nonprofit Corporation in the state of New Mexico that seeks to educate the public on the history of the UFO/UAP phenomenon, preserve and digitize historical documents and media, and promote scientific research into the topic.
Network of Researchers, Historians, and Archivists
We are an organization of leading researchers and archivists who collectively hold the largest collection of UFO records in the United States of America. We hope to be a voice of credibility in a subject historically mired in belief, controversy, conspiracy theories, and misinformation.
True story of UFO/UAPs
There is no central location for the public to access original source documents or obtain the true story of UFOs. We endeavor to provide clarity to current developments and past events through the vehicle of historical records and data.

How It Works

Step 1
Step 2
Acquire Collections
Digitize Materials
Learn about the primary activies of the Center
Work with individuals, families, and institutions to acquire relevant historical UFO documents, media, and artifacts. Many previous collections were discarded due to lack of succession plans for them. We wish to be a final destination for these materials.
Convert physical documents, photographs, analog audio recordings, and artifacts into digital formats for long-term preservation, research and data analysis.
Step 3
Step 4
Step 5
Preserve Materials
Organize & Catalog
Provide Access & Education
Utilize specialized methods and materials to prevent deterioration and ensure the longevity of historical records.
Create a systematic classification system and detailed records to facilitate access and retrieval of historical materials.
Offer public access to the preserved materials and educational programs to promote historical awareness and understanding. Efforts are underway to secure much-needed funding for this effort whereby materials can be accessed via cloud-based options.
